Women in the Gospel of Mark: Characterization through Literary & Gender Analysis

This book provides a literary analysis of every passage dealing with women in the Gospel of Mark. This analysis is placed against a first-century understanding of women to show how both the author and a first-century audience create the characterization of women from how the narrative is told. This publication is an edited version of my PhD dissertation.
